Editor lahir di Kabupaten Dompu, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Ketertarikan editor terhadap pendidikan bahasa Indonesia dimulai ketika ia memasuki pendidikan strata 1 di program studi Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra Indonesia, dan Daerah di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mataram. Tidak berhenti di situ, ia melanjutkan pendidikan strata 2 di Pascasarjana Universitas Mataram, dengan jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Saat ini, Editor merupakan seorang dosen tetap di Program Studi Sastra Indonesia Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. Editor telah meraih hibah penelitian yang didanai langsung oleh RISTEK-BRIN KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK. Tiga hibah penelitian yang berhasil diperolehnya adalah "Integrasi Kearifan Lokal dalam Bahan Ajar Antropolinguistik sebagai Upaya Penguatan Pemahaman dan Karakter Mahasiswa", "Development of Assignment-Based Teaching Materials and Local Wisdom for English Learning of Iisbud Sarea Students During the Pandemic." Dan “Eksplorasi Nilai-Nilai Multikultural dalam Sastra Anak Sumbawa sebagai Revitalisasi Pendidikan Nilai dan karakter”. Editor telah menulis beberapa buku diantaranya “Bahas dan Budaya”, “Sastra dan Identitas Budaya: Menggali Kearifan Lokal Melalui Karya-karya Sastra”, “Bergayut pada Bahasa, Bertaut pada Sastra”, “Navigasi Konseptual dalam Kajian Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (Eksplorasi Paradigma, Teori dan Resistensi dalam Sastra Multikultural)”, “Perkembangan Baru dalam Pendidikan Literasi”, “Manajemen Pendidikan pada Era Digital”. Editor juga telah menerbitkan berbagai karya ilmiah dalam jurnal nasional dan internasional terakreditasi.
